Jon “Bones” Jones Gives Dana White And Rashad Evans A “Stone Cold Beer Shower” (Video)
After successfully defending his light heavyweight belt against Rashad Evans at UFC 146, Jon “Bones” Jones‘ next title defense has been scheduled for September 1st, when he will face Dan Henderson at UFC 151. However, Jones’ next battle will come earlier than then. And it won’t be taking place in an octagon.
Instead, the 24-year-old MMA phenom will find himself battling it out in a Binghamton City courtroom on May 29th, as he faces charges for DWI. The charges were the result of what took place early Saturday morning, as an intoxicated Jones crashed his Bentley Continental GT into a telephone pole at 5am.
Jones has since apologized for his actions, and he was expected to meet with UFC president Dana White and chairman/CEO Lorenzo Fertitta in Las Vegas Tuesday evening, where the three would sit down and discuss Jones’ future with the company following this incident.
Jones could receive a fine from the UFC, but we don’t expect him to be suspended or stripped of the belt. And if we are wrong, we certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see the following unfold during the next UFC Pay-Per-View show.
Check it out.
