This Could Be The First Successful Marriage Proposal At Marlins Park (Video)
History was made in Marlins Park last night, and it had nothing to do with what took place on the field during the Miami Marlins’ 7-6 victory over the Colorado Rockies. Instead, history was being made in the stands, as the MLB’s newest ballpark played host to its first ever successful marriage proposal.
The proposal took place between the second and third innings, as Gus got down on his knee and asked his girlfriend, Faney, for her hand in marriage. Will all eyes on the couple, there would be no awkward moment this time around, as Faney was more than willing to accept the offer.
It was clearly a special moment for the couple and the history of the park. Perhaps the only thing that could have made it even more memorable was if they would have activated the Marlins’ home run structure immediately following the proposal.
Check it out.
