The Game: Detroit Tigers @ Boston Red Sox

The Pick: Red Sox -130

The Reason: Red Sox starter Josh Beckett got out to a rough start this season, but he has been much better as of late, allowing a total of only three earned runs against in his last three starts, while going at least seven innings in each.  The Red Sox have won in each of Beckett’s last three starts, and they have also won their last three games against the Tigers.  Boston is 9-2 in their last 11 at home, 10-4 in their last 14 against the Tigers, and 5-0 in their last five against Detroit at Fenway.  Look for Beckett to provide another strong outing on the mound as the Red Sox finish the four-game sweep by beating the Tigers tonight.

The Game: Milwaukee Brewers @ Los Angeles Dodgers

The Pick: Brewers -115

The Reason: The Brewers enter tonight’s contest looking to complete the four-game sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers.  They have won five of their last six against the Dodgers, four of their last five on the road against L.A., and five of their last seven overall.  Brewers starter Zack Greinke is 5-2 on the season and his team has won in each of his last two starts against the Dodgers.   As for Dodgers starter Chad Billingsley, his team has lost in each of his last three starts against the Brewers.  Look for Milwaukee to complete the sweep, as they earn the victory in Los Angeles tonight.

2012 Record: (94-99-10), This Week: (2-2), Last Week: (5-5)
