Spelling Bee contestants often have the reputation of being a bunch of nerds, but that isn’t always the case. Sure, some of these kids may spend their whole lives reading the dictionary in preparation for their shot at earning the Scripps National Spelling Bee title, but there are others that are actually cool kids with a high level of intelligence and an uncanny ability to spell words that they will probably never use in their lives.
Take this female, for example. She has to be cool, doesn’t she? After all, when was the last time you saw a nerd with enough swagger to pull off the peace-sign-salute?
