The Game: Miami Heat @ Boston Celtics

The Pick: Over 180

The Game: Miami Heat @ Boston Celtics

The Pick: Over 180

The Reason: The Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat may be two of the best defensive teams in the league, but they are also two of the better offensive teams in the NBA, and that has been quite evident through the first five games of their series.  Heading into Game Six tonight, these two teams have gone over the total in each of their last four meetings.  With that, the Heat have now gone over the total in seven of their last eight overall, and four of their last five on the road.  Both teams have some elite scorers and offensive playmakers, including the likes of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce.  With so much at stake tonight, look for the stars to shine, as they should score enough to put this game over the total.

The Game: Tampa Bay Rays @ New York Yankees

The Pick: Under 7.5

The Reason: The aces take the mound tonight when the Tampa Bay Rays and the New York Yankees close out their three-game series at Yankee Stadium.  The Yanks took the first two meetings, both of which went under the total.  Rays starter David Price is 7-3 on the season with a 2.44 ERA, and the total has gone under in each of his last three starts.  As for Yankees starter C.C. Sabathia, he is 7-2 with a 3.68 ERA this season.  These two teams have gone under the total in five of their last six meetings, and with a pitchers’ duel expected to unfold tonight, look for them to go under the total once again.

2012 Record: (100-103-10), This Week: (5-1), Last Week: (3-5)
