The Reason: The battle of Los Angeles resumes today when the Dodgers host the Angels for the third consecutive night. The teams have split the previous two meetings in the series. The Angels have now won four of their last five overall, and 10 of their last 11 on the road. They send CJ Wilson to the mound tonight, and the Angels have won in each of his last four starts. As for Dodgers starter Nathan Eovaldi, his team hasn’t won in any of his three starts this season. The Angels have won seven of their last nine at Dodger Stadium and we expect them to earn another victory tonight.
The Game: Arizona Diamondbacks @ Texas Rangers
The Reason: The Texas Rangers enter tonight’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks having won seven of the last eight meetings between these two teams. They opened their series against the DBacks with a convincing 9-1 victory last night, and tonight they send Matt Harrison to the mound. In addition to sporting an impressive 8-3 record and a 3.87 ERA, Harrison has also won in each of his last four starts. Look for him to continue his winning ways, as he and the Rangers earn yet another convincing victory at home tonight.
