The Game: San Francisco Giants @ Seattle Mariners

The Pick: Giants -105

The Game: San Francisco Giants @ Seattle Mariners

The Pick: Giants -105

The Reason: With a 36-28 record on the season, the San Francisco Giants have been awfully good.  And they seem to be at their best when starting pitcher Ryan Vogelsong is on the mound, as they have won in each of his last seven starts.  The Giants are 12-5 in their last 17, and 8-4 in their last 12 on the road.  As for their opponents tonight, the Seattle Mariners, they have lost their last five in a row and they are 1-5 at home against National League teams this season.  Look for Vogelsong to continue his stellar play as he and the Giants come away with the win tonight at Safeco Field.

The Game: San Diego Padres @ Oakland A’s

The Pick: Over 7.5

The Reason: The San Diego Padres enter tonight’s game having gone over the total in seven of their last nine, while the A’s have gone over the total in five of their last seven.  These two teams have gone over the total in four of their last five meetings, and the starting pitchers for tonight (Anthony Bass for the Padres and Travis Blackley of the A’s) have a combined ERA of 10.15.  They may not be the highest scoring teams in the league, but look for the Padres and the A’s hitters to take advantage of some poor pitching, as they go over the 7.5 total tonight.

2012 Record: (105-109-11), This Week: (3-4-1), Last Week: (7-3)
