The Game: Texas Rangers @ San Diego Padres

The Pick: Rangers -125

The Reason: The Texas Rangers are an impressive 41-27 this season, but despite that record, starting pitcher Scott Feldman has still yet to win a single game in 2012, as he is 0-6 in seven starts this season.  Logical thinking would have you believe that he has to win sometime, and we believe that time is today.  The Rangers enter tonight’s game having won seven of their last eight, while the Padres have won just one of their last six games at home.  Texas is an impressive 10-3 against National League opponents this year, and they are 5-2 on the road against the NL.  Look for them to continue to find success against the National League, as they earn the victory tonight.

The Game: Oklahoma City Thunder @ Miami Heat

The Pick: Thunder +3.5

The Reason: The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Miami Heat split the first two games of their NBA Finals series in OKC, and the Thunder are hoping that they can produce another split in Miami tonight as they look to even the series at 2-2.  Oklahoma City were a solid team on the road all season, putting together an impressive 21-12 record away from the Chesapeake Energy Arena. They will need a win tonight if they want to avoid facing elimination as early as Game 5 in Miami.  We expect this series to go the distance, and that means the Thunder will take tonight’s game.  Look for them to cover the spread and earn the victory in Game Four.

2012 Record: (108-110-11), This Week: (1-1), Last Week: (5-4-1)
