Bill Murray Was Inducted Into The South Atlantic League Hall of Fame (Video)

Bill Murray is pretty damn awesome. You probably don’t need any further evidence of this, but in case you do, here’s a video of his induction speech into the South Atlantic League Hall of Fame. Despite Murray’s professed ignorance as to why he was asked into the Hall (“nobody’s ever asked me to be in a Hall of Fame before”), it’s not a complete non-sequitur. Murray is the owner of the Charleston RiverDogs, a minor league baseball team that plays in the South Atlantic League, and he also serves as the team’s “Director of Fun.”

Can you think of a better person for the job of “Director of Fun” than Bill Murray? Probably not.

Anyway, the video of his speech is below. It’s a bit long (almost 13 minutes), but it’s Bill Murray. You can’t spare 13 minutes for Bill Murray, can’t you?

And here is an interesting clip on Bill Murray and his involvement with the Charleston RiverDogs.
