The Game: St. Louis Cardinals @ Detroit Tigers

The Pick: Cardinals -110

The Reason: The Cardinals will look to close out their three-game series against the Detroit Tigers with a victory today, and with Kyle Lohse on the mound, you have to like their chances.  The righty is 6-2 on the season with a 2.98 ERA, and the cards have won in two of his last three starts.  As for the Tigers, they will be sending Jacob Turner to the mound for his first start of the season.  He didn’t have much success when called upon last season, as Detroit failed to earn a victory in any of his three starts.  He also failed to go past the fifth inning in any of those starts.  Look for him to struggle once again, as the Cardinals emerge victorious today at Comerica Park.

The Game: Oklahoma City Thunder @ Miami Heat

The Pick: Over 193.5

The Reason: The Heat enter Game Five of the NBA Finals tonight having gone over the total in ten of their last 14 overall, and four of their last five at home.  As for the Thunder, they have gone over the total in five of their last seven overall, and six of their last eight on the road.  With the Thunder looking to avoid elimination, and the Heat looking to wrap the series up tonight and avoid having to make the trip back to Oklahoma City for Game Six, expect the superstars on both teams to find their groove early, as they light up the scoreboard and put this game over the 193.5-point total.

2012 Record: (110-112-11), This Week: (3-3), Last Week: (5-4-1)
