The Game: Los Angeles Angels @ Baltimore Orioles

The Pick: Under 7.5

The Reason: The Los Angeles Angels enter tonight’s game against the Baltimore Orioles having gone under the total in 45 of their 74 games this season, and  11 of their last 16 on the road.  As for the Orioles, they have gone under the total  in nine of their last ten games.  Both of tonight’s starters rank among the American League leaders in ERA, as the Angels’ Jered Weaver ranks third with a 2.40 ERA, while the Orioles’ Jason Hammel ranks sixth with a 2.61 ERA.  These two teams have alternated between going over the total and under the total over the course of their last nine games.  Last night they went over the total.  Look for them to go under the total tonight.

The Game: Arizona Diamondbacks @ Atlanta Braves

The Pick: Braves -130

The Reason: The Braves enter tonight’s game having won seven of their last eight meetings with the Arizona Diamondbacks, and each of their last five meetings in Atlanta.  Tonight, they send Tommy Hanson to the mound.  He is an impressive 8-4 on the season, and the Braves have won in each of his last four trips to the mound.  Atlanta has won in three of Hanson’s four career starts against the Diamondbacks, and we expect them to make it four of five as they earn the victory at home tonight.

2012 Record: (113-113-11), This Week: (1-1), Last Week: (6-4)
