Drew Brees Drives The ‘Concussion Cab’ Around NYC (Video)
Those of you who watch the Discovery Channel may be familiar with “Cash Cab,” the worldwide television show that offers taxi passengers a chance to win money by correctly answering a series of general knowledge questions in a timely manner. Well apparently there is now a spin-off of the show, and it’s host is none other than New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees.
Brees recently got behind the wheel of a New York City taxi van and drove through the streets of Manhattan picking up people and putting them through a series of questions regarding concussions and head-related injuries. Titled, “Who Dat Cabbie” (although, I still think it should have been called ‘Concussion Cab’), the game was part of Dick’s Sporting Goods’ PACE (Protect Athletes through Concussion Education) campaign, which is intended to help raise awareness regarding the issue of concussions in sports.
In the end, the participants were given some cool goodies from Dick’s Sporting Goods, but the real prize in this instance was getting to enjoy a cab ride with Drew Brees.
Check it out.
