LSU Tigers Mascot Betrays Les Miles, Plays With RG3 In Latest EA Sports NCAA Football 13 Commercial (Video)
The LSU Tigers were the best team throughout the course of the 2011 NCAA Football regular season, as they went a perfect 13-0, and were 8-0 against SEC opponents. They were even good enough to beat Alabama in one of those meetings, but when the two teams squared off for a second time at the BCS National Championship Game in New Orleans, the Tigers’ inept offense proved to be too much for their nation’s-best defense to compensate for, as they fell to the Crimson Tide by a score of 21-0.
With Jordan Jefferson unable to get the job done under center, there is no denying the fact that the Tigers sure could have used someone like Robert Griffin III at the quarterback position. Even the Tigers’ mascot, Mike the Tiger, is willing to admit that much. But one man who doesn’t seem interested in conceding the fact that he had a quarterback problem is LSU Tigers head coach, Les Miles.
In fact, Miles was even prepared to disown Mike the Tiger after finding out that the LSU mascot had added the Heisman Trophy winner to his LSU Tigers squad while playing a season of EA Sports’ NCAA Football 13.
You can watch it all unfold in the video below. Needless to say, it is much more entertaining than watching the Tigers’ offense in action.
Check it out.
