Anyone who watched the movie “Forrest Gump” witnessed Forrest’s journey through life as he became a part of several historical events, from the Nixon Watergate Scandal, to the Vietnam War. One place where you wouldn’t have seen Forrest , however, was at the Tour de France…
…until Tuesday.
Forrest made a surprise appearance at the finish line, as his spirit must have entered the body of stage winner Peter Sagan, who proceeded to perform a Forrest Gump-like arm pump as he crossed the finish line at Boulogne-sur-Mer.
Mamma always said, “Life was like the Tour de France. You never know what you’re gonna get.”
