The Game: Baltimore Orioles @ Los Angeles Angels

The Pick: Over 8.5

The Reason: The Los Angeles Angels enter tonight’s game having gone over the total in nine of their last ten games.  As for their opponents tonight, the Baltimore Orioles, they have gone over the total in five of their last seven.  Whenever the Angles send C.J. Wilson to the mound, their bats always seem to be at their best.  His run support average this season is 7.25 and the Angels have scored a total of 29 runs over his last five starts, causing each of those games to go over the total.  Four of the last five meetings between these two teams have gone over the total, and we expect to see plenty of runs on the board tonight, as they go over the total once again.

The Game: Los Angeles Dodgers @ Arizona Diamondbacks

The Pick: Dodgers -105

The Reason: With a 6-4 record through his first 17 starts this season, Clayton Kershaw may not be headed for another Cy Young Award, but his 2.64 ERA is still quite impressive.  Tonight he will take on a Diamondbacks team that he has had plenty of success against in the past.  In Kershaw’s last five starts against Arizona, he has earned four wins.  During each of those victories, he did not allow a single earned run against.  The Dodgers enter the game with wins in four of their last five, while the Diamondbacks are in the midst of a six-game losing streak.  Look for Kershaw and the Dodgers to pad their lead over the Diamondbacks in the NL West with a victory tonight.

2012 Record: (120-116-11), This Week: (4-2), Last Week: (4-2)
