Pitt Football Recruits Kicker Named “Chris Blewitt”
Commercial For Alabama Crimson Tide Football Museum Is Cocky, But Still Funny (Video)
In case you didn’t realize it, the University of Alabama football team has won a lot over the years. Their all-time record is 814-320-43 (.710), and they’ve claimed 22 SEC titles to go along with their 14 National Championships.
So when they broke the 2012 BCS Trophy, which is made out of Waterford crystal and worth an estimated $30,000? Nah, who cares. They’ve got more. Or at least, that’s the official position of the Alabama football program according to this new commercial for the Paul W. Bryant Museum in Tuscaloosa.
The museum, which is named after legendary Crimson Tide Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant, tells the history of the legendary football program and houses all the trophies and awards they have won over the years. It opened in 1988 and gets about 35,000 visitors each year.
The commercial, though extremely cocky, is actually pretty hilarious. Check it out:
I’m not a Crimson Tide fan, so I’d never make a special trip to Tuscaloosa just to visit this museum. But after seeing this commercial, if I was ever passing through, I’d at least think about checking it out. So, I guess that makes this ad a success.
