The Reason: The Texas Rangers enter tonight’s game with a 30-16 record at home this season, and an 8-2 record in their last 10 at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. As for the Red Sox, they have won just one of their last five overall, and just two of their last seven on the road. The Rangers have won each of the last four meetings between these two teams, and they have handed Red Sox starter Clay Buchholz the loss in each of their last three games against him. Look for the rangers to continue to find success at home, as they come away with the victory tonight.
The Game: Atlanta Braves @ Florida Marlins
The Reason: The Braves had their four-game winning streak against the Marlins snapped last night, thanks to a terrific pitching performance from Josh Johnson and the Marlins’ bullpen. Tonight, the Braves send their own ace to the mound, as Tim Hudson takes the hill against Mark Buehrle. Hudson is 8-4 on the season, and the Braves have won in each of his last three starts. Hudson has also earned the win in each of his last three starts against the Marlins. Look for him to make it four in a row, as the Braves get the win tonight.
