The Game: Tampa Bay Rays @ Baltimore Orioles

The Pick: Under 8.5

The Reason: The Rays have gone under the total in each of their last five games, while the Orioles have gone under the total in six of their last seven.  Eight of the last ten meetings between these two teams have gone under the total, including six of the last seven in Baltimore.  The Rays send David Price to the mound, and in addition to sporting a low 2.64 ERA on the season, he has also allowed a total of just four earned runs against over his last three starts versus the Orioles (all of which went under the 8.5-run total).  As for Orioles starter Miguel Gonzalez, he has a 2.79 ERA on the season.  Look for these two teams to play in another low-scoring contest tonight, as they go under the total.

The Game: Boston Red Sox @ Texas Rangers

The Pick: Rangers -130

The Reason: The Rangers enter tonight’s game with wins in eight of their last 11 at home, while the Red Sox have won just one of their last five games.  The Rangers have also won four of the last five meetings between these two teams.  Texas starter Derek Holland has earned the victory in each of his last three starts against the Red Sox, while Boston starter Josh Beckett has earned the victory just once in his last five starts against the Rangers.  Look for Holland and the Rangers to emerge victorious once again tonight.
