The Game: Chicago White Sox @ Minnesota Twins

The Pick: White Sox -125

The Reason: The White Sox enter tonight’s game against the Twins on a roll, having won five of their last six game.  Tonight’s starter, Jose Quintana, is 4-1 on the season with a 2.82 ERA.  As for Twins starter Cole de Vries, he has watched his team lose in each of his last three starts.  These two pitchers squared off less than one week ago, and it was the White Sox emerging with the 11-4 victory.  Chicago has won each of the last five meetings between these two teams, and eight of the last ten in Minnesota.  Look for much of the same to unfold tonight, as the White Sox earn the victory against the Twins.

The Game: Tampa Bay Rays @ Oakland Athletics

The Pick: Under 6.5

The Reason: The Tampa Bay Rays have gone under the total in nine of their last ten games overall, and five of their last six on the road.  As for the Athletics, they have gone under the total in six of their last seven games at home.  The A’s rank first in the American League in defense, surrendering just 3.69 runs against per game.  And the Rays are right behind them, ranked second in the AL with an average of only 3.97 runs against per game.  On the mound for the Rays is David Price, whose 2.57 ERA is good enough for second in the AL.  As for A’s starter AJ Griffin, he has an impressive 2.25 ERA in six starts this season.   Look for both pitchers to find success, as they keep this game under the total.

2012 Record: (129-127-11), Last Week: (4-4)
