German Discus Thrower Robert Harting Celebrates Gold Medal Like A Boss (Videos)
Basketball players have the NBA Championship. Soccer players have the World Cup. Tennis players have the Grand Slams.
However, for most athletes at the 2012 Summer Games, the Olympics are the absolute highest level of competition, and nothing could mean more than winning a gold medal. It’s what they dreamed about since they were kids, and it’s what they’ve worked so very hard to achieve.
So put yourself in their shoes for a moment. If you just found out you had won a gold medal at the Olympics, what would you do?
Well, if you were 27-year-old German discus thrower Robert Harting, and you just won a gold medal with a throw of 68.27 meters, you’d do this:
Yep, after clinching gold in the men’s discus throw, Harding ripped off his shirt (Incredible Hulk-style), donned a German flag as a cape, and took off for a victory lap on the hurdles track.
Does this dude know how to celebrate, or what!
