The Game: Atlanta Braves @ Philadelphia Phillies
The Reason: The Atlanta Braves enter tonight’s game having won 11 of their last 14 overall, and 15 of their last 22 on the road. They have also won seven of their last eight against the Phillies, including four of the last five in Philadelphia. The Braves send Tim Hudson to the mound tonight. He is 11-4 on the season with a 3.45 ERA, and they have won in each of his last three starts. As for Phillies starter Kyle Kendrick, he is 2-8 on the season with a 4.54 ERA and his team has lost during each of his last three starts. Husdon has earned the victory in each of his last two starts against the Phillies and we expect him to make it three in a row, as the Braves earn the victory tonight.
The Game: Arizona Diamondbacks @ Pittsburgh Pirates
The Reason: We went with the Pirates last night and it didn’t work out for us, but that isn’t going to stop us from going with them once again tonight. Despite the loss, the Pirates have still won 19 of their last 25 at home, three of their last four against the Diamondbacks, and six of their last eight at home against Arizona. In addition to that, they have also won in each of Kevin Correia’s last three starts. Look for the Pirates to rebound from yesterday’s loss with a big victory over Arizona tonight.
