The Game: Baltimore Ravens @ Atlanta Falcons

The Pick: Ravens +1

The Reason: The Baltimore Ravens have been a great regular season team as of late, having made the playoffs in each of the last four seasons.  And they have been equally good during the preseason in recent memory, having lost just two preseason games in the last three years.  As for the Atlanta Falcons, the preseason hasn’t exactly been a strong suit for them, as they failed to win a preseason game last year, and they have not finished above .500 in the preseason since 2007.  Both teams are expected to have solid seasons in 2012, but look for John Harbaugh to have his squad fired up for this meaningless game, and that should result in a victory for the Ravens.

The Game: San Francisco Giants @ St. Louis Cardinals

The Pick: Giants +120

The Reason: The Giants enter tonight’s game having won five of their last six games, all on the road.  They have also won five of their last seven against the Cardinals, and four of their last five in St. Louis.  They send Madison Bumgarner to the mound, and he has been solid this season, posting a 12-6 record and a 3.03 ERA.  As for Cards starter Adam Wainwright, he is 9-10 on the season, and he has lost four of his last five starts against the Giants.  After losing the first game in this four-game series, the Giants have won the last two, and we expect them to make it three in a row tonight.

2012 Record: (135-135-11), This Week: (4-2), Last Week: (2-6)
