Orioles Fans Finally Have A Team Worth Getting Drunk And Dancing Shirtless For (Video)
Fans of the Baltimore Orioles haven’t had much to dance shirtless about in recent years.
Not only has the team not made the playoffs since Bill Clinton was still President (1997), but they haven’t even had a .500 season in that span. In fact, over the last three seasons alone, the O’s have lost 287 games.
This year, however, that’s all different. In case you haven’t noticed, Baltimore is currently 64-53, which has placed them atop the A.L. wild card standings, and just 6 back of the Yankees for top spot in the A.L. East. Obviously, there are still a lot of games left to play, and the O’s could tank and finish below .500. But as far as the long-suffering fans are concerned, this season is a huge success. Just being in the thick of things into August has got to have them feeling over the moon.
At least, that’s what one would assume after watching following video. It comes from a game at Camden Yards earlier this week, and it’s notable for two things.
First, the upper deck at the Ballpark is almost completely full, and it’s not even opening day.
Second, there’s a really excited (and presumably drunk) shirtless fan dancing to “YMCA” by the Village People.
Check it out:
It’s nice to see some excitement at Camden Yards again, isn’t it?
