With a total of just 13 points scored during last night’s NCAA football match-up between Boise State and BYU, there weren’t many highlights to speak of.  But there was at least one, and surprisingly, it came courtesy of the head official.

It took place just over five minutes into the game, as Boise State wide receiver Shane Williams-Rhodes was on the receiving end of a punch from the referee, who was in the midst of announcing a penalty on the play.

Unfortunately for Williams-Rhodes, that would be the only thing he was on the receiving end of last night, as he failed to record a catch on the evening.  But that didn’t stop the Broncos from emerging with a 7-6 victory.

Here’s a look at the official’s straight right to the chin of Williams-Rhodes.
