Stat Line Of The Night — 10/7/12 — Drew Brees (Record-Breaking Video)
Stat Line Of The Night — 10/8/12 — Arian Foster
The Houston Texans entered last night’s game having never beaten the New York Jets in franchise history, but that all changed thanks in large part to the giant, ball-swatting hands of Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, and the always-rumbling legs of running back Arian Foster
And when we say “always-rumbling,” we mean it!
Foster entered the game with a whopping 103 carries in his team’s first four games, and he carried the rock another 29 times on Monday night, resulting in 152 yards and a touchdown. He also added one reception for 16 yards, as the Texans held on for the 23-17 victory.
With the win, Houston joins the Atlanta Falcons as the only remaining undefeated teams in the NFL. As for Foster, his big game moves him into second in the league in rushing yards (532) and first in attempts (132). And he also earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Monday, October 8, 2012.
