Do You Have What It Takes To Manage The Boston Red Sox? Click Here To Find Out!
After finishing the 2013 MLB regular season with a disappointing 69-93 record (good enough for last in the AL East), the Boston Red Sox have plenty of decisions to make during the upcoming off-season. Their front office wasted little time making one of those decisions when they fired manager Bobby Valentine last week, just a few days after their season ended. Finding his replacement is probably the next move on the Red Sox list, but perhaps even more important than that decision will be their decisions regarding which players to keep on the team’s roster, and which players to dump during their winter cleaning period.
Would you keep Jon Lester around? Think Alfredo Aceves is still worth a roster spot? Well now you can choose the fate of those players, as well as the rest of the Boston Red Sox, thanks to Boston.com’s new interactive GM game. And best of all, when you’re done deciding who to keep and who to dump, you’ll be given a grade and final evaluation from the Boston Globe’s Chad Finn.
