Jacoby Jones’ ‘Choppa City Juke’ TD Dance is Back and Better Than Ever (Video)
The “Choppa City Juke” is an Orlando-based dance that was made popular around the NFL a few year back thanks to Titans running back Chris Johnson and former Jaguars receiver Mike Sims-Walker. It got so big that the people at EA Sports inserted the “Chopper City Juke” into Madden ’11 as a unique touchdown celebration for both players. And you can probably expect them to do the same for Jacoby Jones in Madden ’14 when it comes out next August.
Jones has brought the “Choppa City Juke” back to the NFL with a bang, as he got our attention after performing it following a 21-yard reception during a week two loss to the Eagles. And the Ravens’ receiver/return specialist was showing off his smooth moves in the end zone once again after returning a punt 63 yards to the house in the first quarter of last night’s divisional battle against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Jones was the only Raven who had an opportunity to dance in the end zone on this night, but that–and a couple of field goals–was all they needed, as Baltimore took a stranglehold of top spot in the AFC North with a 13-10 victory.
