Stat Line Of The Night — 11/19/12 — Aldon Smith
With a 7-1 record entering Tuesday night's NBA action, the New York Knicks found themselves sitting atop the NBA standings. And they would remain there, thanks in large part to a solid performance from their All-Star forw
ard, Carmelo Anthony.
Melo has been a key factor to the Knicks' success this season, and that trend continued last night, as he recorded 29 points, six rebounds and four assists in just 28 minutes of action, as New York cruised to the easy 102-80 victory over the New Orleans Hornets.
Some may have expected the Knicks, and more specifically, Carmelo Anthony, to be a flop this season, but that has been far from the case, as the team earns yet another victory, while their star earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Tuesday, November 20, 2012.
