Stat Line of the Night — 11/27/2012 — Kevin Love
After watching the first month of the season from the sidelines with a broken hand, Kevin Love made his highly anticipated debut just last week, and it hasn’t taken the Timberwolves’ forward long to regain his All-Star form. In his first game back, Love dropped 34 points on the Denver Nuggets. And last night, less than one week later, he had his most complete game yet.
Love decided to play without a protective glove on his right hand and that decision appeared to be a good one, as he recorded an NBA season-high 24 rebounds to go along with 23 points, two assists, two steals and a block. It was just what the Timberwolves needed, as they beat the Sacramento Kings by a score of 97-89, and snapped a five-game losing streak in the process.
Love has now recorded a double-double in each of the four games he’s played this season, and on this occasion he earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Tuesday, November 27, 2012.
