Stat Line of the Night — 11/27/2012 — Kevin Love
After watching the first month of the season from the sidelines with a broken hand, Kevin Love made his highly anticipated debut just last week, and it hasn't taken the Timberwolves' forward long to regain his All-Star form. In his first game back, Love dropped 34 points on the Denver Nuggets
. And last night, less than one week later, he had his most complete game yet.
Love decided to play without a protective glove on his right hand and that decision appeared to be a good one, as he recorded an NBA season-high 24 rebounds to go along with 23 points, two assists, two steals and a block. It was just what the Timberwolves needed, as they beat the Sacramento Kings by a score of 97-89, and snapped a five-game losing streak in the process.
Love has now recorded a double-double in each of the four games he's played this season, and on this occasion he earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Tuesday, November 27, 2012.
