Rajon Rondo Started a Brawl Between the Nets and Celtics Last Night (Video)
Joe Johnson Breaks Paul Pierce’s Ankles With Some Sweet Dribbling Skills (Videos)
Celtics great Paul Pierce is really getting up there in terms of age. And you know where his advanced age is starting to show most (besides his driver’s license)? His ankles. They keep getting broken.
Last night, during a game against the Nets in Boston—after the big melee that led to the ejection of Rajon Rondo and Kris Humphries—Joe Johnson got the ball at the top of the key, put on some sweet dribbling moves, and left Pierce flailing on the floor while he went and hit the jump shot over him.
Take a look:
Those are some pretty slick moves for a guy who’s listed at 6’7″ 240 lb. However, that wasn’t even the first time this week that somebody broke Pierce’s ankles. On Sunday in Orlando, Jameer Nelson did it too. And Pierce looked even worse that time.
Check it out:
I’m sorry to say this Boston fans, but the 35-year-old Paul Pierce is definitely starting to look his age. I hope the guy has ankle insurance.
But hey, at least KG is still in his pri—wait, what? KG is 36? Nevermind. You guys are in trouble.
