Charles Barkley Surpassed His Question Limit During Interview With Gregg Popovich (Video)
San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich surprised everyone when he sent Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker and Danny Green on a flight back home prior to yesterday’s nationally televised game against the Miami Heat. It was a move that raised several questions. Unfortunately for Charles Barkley, he was unable to ask any of those questions during a halftime interview with Popovich because he had already exceeded his two-question limit.
Yeah, that’s right. Barkley was working courtside for TNT last night, and after asking Pops a couple of questions about the Spurs’ bench play and the pace of the game, he was cut off while attempting to ask a third.
Check it out:
Perhaps he should have asked Popovich why he sent home his team’s top three players first.
And in case you’re still wondering, the obvious reason for the head coach’s decision was so that his aging superstars could get some much needed rest prior to Saturday’s matchup with the first-place Grizzlies.
