Stat Line of the Night — 11/29/2012 — David Lee
The Golden State Warriors have not made the playoffs since 2007, but they appear to be on the right track towards snapping that streak of futility one month into the 2012-13 NBA season, as they entered last night’s game with an 8-6 record. And they continued their winning ways with a 106-105 victory over the Denver Nuggets.
Leading the way was none other than David Lee, as the Warriors power forward contributed 31 points, nine rebounds (four offensive, five defensive), six assists, one block and one steal during the nail-biting victory.
With the win, the Warriors (9-6) are now tied atop the Pacific Division with the Los Angeles Clippers. As for Lee, he is now averaging 17.4 points and 10.7 rebounds per game, and he earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Thursday, November 29, 2012.
