The Utah Jazz entered last night’s game looking to snap out of their three-game losing streak against the suddenly streaking Orlando Magic.  In order to do so, they would need a big game from Big Al, and that is exactly what they got.

Al Jefferson had what was easily his best game of the 2012-13 NBAseason thus far, as he recorded a season-high 31 points to go along with 15 rebounds, two assists and a steal. Unfortunately, he has to exit the game during the finals minutes with a back injury, but by then he had already done enough to help the Jazz secure the 87-81 victory.

Despite the injury, Jefferson was in good spirits following the game, as he told reporters that he should be ready to suit up for Friday’s game.  And the Jazz are going to need him if they hope to string some wins together.  Big Al certainly helped them get the “W” on this occasion, and as a result, he earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Wednesday, December 5, 2012.
