Kris Durham and Jason Avant Make Spectacular One-Handed Catches (Video)
The NFL brings us plenty of incredible highlights each weekend, and this past Sunday was no different, as two of the year’s best catches were made by the Philadelphia Eagles’ Jason Avant and the Detroit Lions’ Kris Durham.
Avant’s came first, as he leaped through the air and used his right hand to reel in a desperate pass from Eagles quarterback Nick Foles along the sideline. That 20-yard catch was just one of seven grabs for Avant on the day, as he accumulated a team-leading 133 yards during Philadelphia’s 23-21 come-from-behind victory.
Here is a look at his spectacular second quarter catch:
And not to be outdone was Kris Durham, who soared through the snowy skies at Lambeau Field last night in order to make this amazing one-handed catch during the second quarter of the Lions’ game against the Green Bay Packers.
Check it out:
Unlike Avant’s grab, Durham’s came in a losing cause, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t as impressive….or does it?
I’ll let you be the judge of that.
