Stat Line of the Night — 12/16/2012 — Adrian Peterson
Stat Line of the Night — 12/17/2012 — Serge Ibaka
Typically, when we feature a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder on our “Stat Line of the Night,” it is usually either Kevin Durant or Russell Westbrook. But on this occasion, it was someone else leading the way for the Thunder. That someone else was Serge Ibaka.
With the Thunder taking on the San Antonio Spurs and first place in the Western Conference at stake, Ibaka stepped up with his best game of the season, as he recorded a game-high in points and rebounds, with 25 and 17, respectively. He also added three blocks and an assist, as OKC increased their lead in the West via the 107-93 victory.
Ibaka’s 17 rebounds were a season-high for the Spaniard, while his 25 points tied his previous season-high in that category. He entered the game averaging a league-high three blocks per game on the season, and he maintained that mark last night, while earning himself “The Stat Line of the Night” for Monday, December 17, 2012.
