Stat Line of the Night — 12/18/2012 — LeBron James
Few NBA players are capable of filling a stat sheet like LeBron James is, and the 2012 NBA MVP was at it again last night during the Miami Heat’s home contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Looking to close the gap on the Knicks in their battle for top spot in the Eastern Conference, King James poured in 22 points to go along with 11 assists, seven rebounds, four blocks and a steal, as the Heat cruised to the 103-92 victory.
With the win, Miami now sits just one game back of the Knicks, who were idle on Tuesday night. This should make things that much more interesting come Christmas Day, when the Heat host the Thunder and the Knicks visit the Lakers. And we certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see LeBron put on a similar performance in front of a national audience on December 25th, but for now he earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Tuesday, December 18, 2012.
