When it comes to defending the opposing team’s top wideout, Richard Sherman has developed a reputation as being one of the best that the NFL has to offer this season.  And the Seahawks cornerback has also developed a reputation as being one of the league’s most antagonizing, in-your-face players at his position.

As a result, I wasn’t quite sure I believed Sherman’s statement regarding his post-game altercation with Redskins offensive lineman Trent Williams, at first.

Did an unprovoked Williams really approach Sherman and threaten him?  Was Sherman really the innocent victim of a slap to the face from the 6’5″, 325-pound tackle?

After watching the video below, featuring a mic’d up Sherman during Sunday’s game, we can confidently say that the answer to the above questions is a definitive “yes.”
