Stat Line of the Night — 1/9/2013 — Brandon Jennings
The Milwaukee Bucks were able to win their first game under interim coach Jim Boylan, and they were looking to make it two in a row when they visited the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night. Doing so wouldn’t be easy against a Bulls team that ranks third in the league in opposition scoring, but their defense didn’t have an answer for Brandon Jennings on this night.
Jennings led the Bucks’ offensive charge, as he scored 35 points to go along with six assists, six rebounds and a steal. Most of his damage came during his 20-point third quarter, as the Bucks outscored the Bulls 31-23 during the frame, en route to the 104-96 victory.
Interestingly, Jennings’ 35 points is the largest offensive output from a single player against the Bulls this season. And that was enough to earn him “The Stat Line of the Night” for Wednesday, January 9, 2013.
