So with this being thier final game on Russian soil (for a while, at least), many of those watching the KHL All-Star Game probably assumed that it would be either Datsyuk or Kovalchuk treating us to some sort of highlight reel goal, or something along those lines.
But that didn't happen. Rather, it was little-known Jori Lehterä of HC Sibir Novosibirsk who was playing the role of awe-inspiring-goal-scorer, thanks to this brilliant display during a penalty shot attempt:
That's one way to steal the show.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, the East would emerge with the 18-11 victory, thanks in large part to Kovalchuk's hat-trick.
