Lance Armstrong Admits PED Use To Oprah
Winter is a tough time for hardcore baseball fans. But here’s some good news for all you baseball-loving folks out there: pitchers and catchers report in just four weeks.
And if four weeks still seems like an eternity to you, well then how about this—today we’ve got a very baseball-like cricket highlight from Australia. Heck, if you squint your eyes enough and ignore the Aussie accent of the announcer, you just might trick you’re brain into thinking it’s mid-June!
In this video an Australian cricket player hits the cricket equivalent of a home run, called a six, and a fan walking back to his seat from the concession stand reaches up and makes the one-handed grab without dropping his grub. It’s just like a baseball game—except the guy is carrying a carton of milk instead of a beer, which is kind of weird.
Still, it was an impressive catch. Take a look:
It’s weird how much this looks like a baseball game, isn’t it? I think I’m going to start calling cricket “Australian baseball.”
In any case, somebody should show this to the Kansas City Royals, so that they can sign the kid to a 4-year $35 million contract.
