Stat Line of the Night — 2/4/2013 — LeBron James
LeBron James came oh-so-close to recording his third triple-double of the season during last night’s game against the Charlotte Bobcats, but it wasn’t his 31 points, eight assists or eight rebounds that impressed us the most. Rather, it was his efficiency on the night that has earned him a spot in this post.
You see, James only took 14 shots on the night, and he connected on 13 of those for a remarkable 92.9% conversion rate from the field. He also hit five of his six free throw attempts, and he added two steals during the Heat’s 99-94 victory over the Bobcats.
Despite leading his team in points on the night, LeBron was only the third most active shooter on the Heat, behind Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. But he was able to make the most of his opportunities, and that earns him “The Stat Line of the Night” for Monday, February 4, 2013.
