Ed Reed Sings Eddie Money’s ‘Two Tickets To Paradise’ at Ravens Super Bowl Parade (Video)
Ed Reed is a great safety. He is not a great singer.
The Baltimore Ravens’ defensive back has proven the former statement throughout his 11-year career, earning nine Pro Bowl appearances, eight All-Pro Team honors, and one AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year award. And on Sunday, he added another highlight to his historic career when his Baltimore Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl XLVII.
The Ravens were celebrating that victory back home in Baltimore yesterday during the team’s Super Bowl Parade, and that was when Ed Reed proved the latter—that he is not a great singer.
Reed had himself a solid game on Sunday, recording five tackles and an interception. He was an integral part of the Ravens’ success all year, so head coach John Harbaugh figured it would only be fitting for Reed to sing Eddie Money’s “Two Tickets to Paradise” to the crowd.
So Ed did just that.
And apparently, once wasn’t enough, so he did it again:
Two tickets to paradise, huh? I wonder who he’s taking.
