It seems like every NBA team has at least one bench player that barely gets any playing time. In fact, sometimes those players become fan favorites, the way Brian Scalabrine, a.k.a. “the White Mamba” did in Boston and Chicago. Unfortunately, though, not everyone is so lucky.

Falling into the category of unlucky bench players is Brooklyn’s Mirza Teletovic. The 27-year-old rookie just over from Serbia is averaging a measly 8.1 minutes and 3.4 points per game this year. So you understand why he would try to go all out and make an impression when he actually gets into a game.

Well, on Thursday night Teletovic succeeded in making an impression with his limited playing time. Only problem is that the impression he made was an absolutely terrible one. Within a span of just 40 seconds—yes, less than a minute—the guy shot not one, not two, but three airballs.

It’s unbelievable. You have to see it for yourself:

Have you ever seen anything like that?

You have to feel for the guy. That is all kinds of embarrassing. Although, he should have realized that, after shooting one airball, he might be a little rusty.
