On February 17th of this year (which is this Sunday), Michael Jordan will be celebrating his 50th birthday. As a result, Sports Illustrated is celebrating the occasion by placing Jordan on the cover of next week's issue, which just so happens to be his 50th appearance on the magazine's cover—as Sports Illustrated themselves have stated, “Funny how that works.”
