Stat Line of the Night — 2/13/2013 — Mike Cammalleri
Mike Cammalleri suited up for the first time in four games last night when the Calgary Flames hosted the Dallas Stars, and despite the layoff, the Flames’ winger didn’t seem to miss a beat.
Cammalleri had been dealing with a hip injury, but that didn’t hamper him one bit on Wednesday, as he recorded a hat-trick and an assist during the Flames’ 7-4 victory over the Stars. It was the highest scoring output from the Flames this season, as they had previously scored four goals on four separate occasions.
As a result of his three-goal performance, Cammalleri reached a career milestone, scoring his 200th career goal on the evening. He now has three goals and six assists in eight games this season, and he earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Wednesday, February 13, 2013.
