Stat Line of the Night — 2/14/2013 — LeBron James
Before they head into the weekend’s All-Star break, the NBA provided its fans with a rematch of last year’s NBA Finals, as the Miami Heat took on the Oklahoma City Thunder in front of a national television audience. And just like last year, it was the Heat emerging victorious, thanks in large part to the play of LeBron James.
James took home Finals MVP honors following last year’s series, and he was easily the most valuable player on the court during last night’s match-up. In addition to a team-high 39 points, he also added 12 rebounds, seven assists and two steals.
Unfortunately for LeBron, his streak of games with at least 30 points and 60-percent shooting ended at six after he missed a long three-point attempt with just over a minute remaining. However, his Heat still earned the 110-100 victory, while James earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Thursday, February 14, 2013.
