Former Knick Renaldo Balkman Chokes Teammate During PBA Game (Video)
A good teammate is someone who would fight for you. A bad teammate is someone who would fight you.
With that being said, we’ll simply chalk up Knicks 2006 first-round pick Renaldo Balkman as a bad teammate, seeing as how he pretty much tried to fight the referees and any teammate that got in his way during a Philippines Basketball Association game today.
From the looks of it, no teammate got in Balkman’s way more so than Petron Blaze Boosters forward Arwind Santos. And after exchanging shoves, Balkman’s right hand was wrapped around the neck of Santos.
Check it out:
Crazy, isn’t it?
The PBA is expected to meet with Balkman to determine how they will handle the situation, but I certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see the Petron Blaze Boosters make the league’s decision for them by releasing the Latrell Sprewell wannabee and putting an end to this experiment-gone-wrong.
