DeAndre Jordan Throws Down Monster Alley-Oop Dunk Vs. Pistons (Video)
Just a few days ago, we saw the Los Angeles Clippers’ Jamal Crawford and Blake Griffin team up for a showtime dunk that we said was the dunk of the year in the NBA.
Well, I guess DeAndre Jordan didn’t like his teammates getting all that attention. So last night against the Pistons, he upped Crawford and Griffin with one of the most thunderous dunks you’ll ever see.
With the Clippers already up by 19 points against the Pistons with about four and a half minutes left in the first half, Chris Paul brought the ball up the right side of the court and lobbed an alley-oop pass for Jordan at the front of the basket. Jordan took that pass and proceeded to posterize Detroit’s Brandon Knight, hanging in the air for what seemed like an eternity before jamming the ball home with maximum force.
Just take a look for yourself:
I don’t know about you, but for me that definitely tops the Crawford-Griffin dunk. In fact, that tops the majority of dunks I’ve ever seen. And you have to love the reaction from the fans and, most of all, the bench. Do you think Griffin cares that his dunk was just eclipsed? No way. The guy just appreciates the work of art produced by his teammate.
These are definitely not your father’s Clippers, are they?
