Greek Footballer Hits Four Posts With One Shot (Video)
Tim Duncan took the night off on Tuesday during a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, and while the decision to sit the future Hall of Famer resulted in a loss, it also provided the Spurs with a well-rested Duncan for last night’s contest against the Dallas Mavericks.
Thanks to some fresh legs, Duncan dominated at both ends of the court on Thursday as he recorded a game-high 28 points to go along with 19 rebounds, two assists and a block in 36 minutes on the court during Spurs’ 92-91 victory over the Mavs.
After recording their league-leading 50th win of the season, the Spurs currently sit in first in the Eastern Conference. And they could be heading into the playoffs with a healthy, rested Tim Duncan, which would spell trouble for the rest of the league. But for now, he earns “The Stat Line of the Night” for Thursday, March 14, 2013.
