Reds Fan Catches Home Run Ball in One Hand While Holding Infant in the Other (Video)
Last week we showed you a clip of a Diamondbacks fan who jumped out of the way of a home run ball and let it hit his girlfriend in the face. This week we have the polar opposite.
At the Reds-Nationals game in Cincinnati on Saturday, Washington’s Jayson Werth blasted a home run to right-center field in the top of the 7th off Sam LeCure. Was it caught by a fan? You bet. In fact, a fan caught it one-handed…while holding his baby in the other hand.
Needless to say, this guy got quite an ovation from the fans in his section. Check it out:
Yep, that guy is a boss. He now joins a very elite club of dudes who have caught baseballs one-handed while holding their kids. There was the Chattanooga Lookouts dad. There was the Chicago Cubs dad. There was the Atlanta Braves dad. And now there is the Cincinnati Reds dad.
Of course, Cincinnati Reds dad has the other members of this exclusive club all beat. His catch was the only one that came on a home run ball instead of a foul ball.
